Aynsley Petersen

Aynsley graduated from Ontario College of Health & Technology in 2010 in Police foundations. Upon graduating Aynsley got licensed in the security field and became a private investigator. While practicing in the field of private investigation she opened her own firm. Aynsley continues to own and operate her private investigation firm and manage field operations. While doing this she attended and completed college to become a licensed paralegal. Aynsley is married to Steve and is his motivation and partner in all ways. She has been there with Steve through the years of policing and with him from the start of their paralegal traffic defence practice. Aynsley holds a commercial motor vehicle licence. Yes, she can drive a truck! This helps in her new venture of becoming a licensed paralegal and can help Steve even further in their practice.

Brent Fleury

Brent graduated from CTS Canadian Career College with Honours. He obtained his Paralegal License from the Law Society of Ontario and began practicing law as a Defence Litigation Paralegal. Brent is passionate about the law and is a strong advocate for his clients. Recently he partnered with XPolice as the Owner and Operator of the XPolice services in London, and surrounding areas. Brent has worked in the telecommunications sector for over 28 years. He managed the Claims Department dealing with property loss and personal injuries and motor vehicle accidents during this period. The years he spent in claims resolution developed his strong advocacy and negotiation skills, which allowed him to successfully deal with thousands of claim disputes. Brent has earned diplomas from McMaster University and George Washington University in Project Management and an Executive MBA from Queen's University. Brent's passion for law led him to assist people in defending traffic tickets and other provincial offences. Brent brings his extensive business experience, alternative dispute resolution, and courtroom experience. He will use his skills to review the clients' matters and develop a clear resolution path. GERALD (Jerry) LEBLANC

Jerry has been practising since 2007. He graduated from the Paralegal Communications Program with honours in early 2007 from CDI College. After graduating, he founded Ticket Terminator Paralegal Services, which he operated until November 2009. In November 2009, he proudly joined the XPolice family. He owned and operated the XPolice Barrie office until December 31, 2019. On April 1, 2016 he took over the position of Owner/President of XPolice Traffic Ticket Services Professional Corporation from Ivon Fournier. Jerry remains as an advisor/consultant for XPOLICE. Jerry is a paralegal instructor. He taught at Everest College located in Newmarket in 2008, and has been a paralegal instructor at CTS Canadian Career College in Barrie since 2010. He is dedicated to helping produce top notch paralegals. He continues to attend court and diligently fight for his clients. As President of XPolice Traffic Ticket Services Professional Corporation, Jerry is committed to ensuring that XPolice's clients are well looked after. Greg Zafirides

During his career, Greg served in uniform patrol, core and bicycle patrol, as an acting supervisor, as a scene of crime officer, and as a traffic enforcement officer. The last five years of Greg's career was spent assigned to the Divisional Safety Officer where responsibilities included traffic enforcement, personal injury collision investigation, and commercial motor vehicle enforcement. While serving with the Hamilton Police Service, Greg was trained in the following: Collision investigation. Commercial motor vehicle enforcement. As a motorcycle and ATV officer. As a Radar and Lidar speed detection operator. As a Scenes of Crime Officer. As a Crisis Intervention Team (C.I.T) member.

Ian Bingham

Ian's first foray in Defence was in the Intelligence Branch of the Canadian Forces, deploying domestically and to the Middle East before retiring after 10 years of service as a Commissioned Lieutenant (Navy/Marine). After graduating from the French Common Law Programme at the University of Moncton in 2014, Ian articled in Ottawa before starting a Criminal Defence firm in Hamilton, Ontario. Ian resides in Grimsby and is an advocate for his community and his clients, relying on trial experience in both Superior and Ontario Courts of Justice to achieve success in the Courtroom. Fields of experience include Assaults, Impaired driving, Drug and firearm charges. Ian is proud to work hand in hand with Steve Petersen and the team at X-Police to get the best results possible for Traffic and Driving offenses under the Criminal Code of Canada.

Jacob A. Jacob

A competent, qualified and effective paralegal with small claims litigation, traffic ticket experience and a successful track record in the corporate world spanning three continents, Jacob is a paralegal with a difference. Apart from being an expert in consumer behaviour and a trained Insolvency Counselor (CAIRP), he also has a Masters Degree in Marketing Management, exemplary skills in negotiation, research, analysis and an established record of delivering on all his commitments. His substantial work/life experiences heading organizations, dealing with all types of people at all levels and providing business and customer-centric solutions, has given him an edge when it comes to providing clients with the very best of counsel, service and representation. In his spare time he does a lot of volunteer and charitable work in his church and as an officer of good standing at his council in the Knights of Columbus.

Jacqui Armstrong

Jacqui has over twenty years' experience in legal and property management with the skills and experience to transcend industries. After nine years of property management, she started her legal career in 2003 with A Wilford Professional Corporation researching and analyzing law sources to prepare drafts of briefs and arguments for civil litigation, criminal, small claims, and estates. She also searched property titles, prepared all real estate documentation and managed the daily operations of the law firm. During this time, Jacqui was the recipient of the Owen Sound Chamber of Commerce Award of Georgian College for Community Involvement in Entrepreneurship in 2006, and the Clare Christie Award for demonstrating leadership in improving the Owen Sound and District Environment in 2007. In 2013, Jacqui decided to further her legal career as a Paralegal and attended the CTS Canadian Career College where she graduated in 2014 with honors. Jacqui is very passionate about legal services, civil rights and social action, education, environment, health, and poverty alleviation.

Steve Petersen

Steve started his Policing career in 1986 serving 3 years in Durham Region before coming to Hamilton in 1989. Steve continued to serve in several areas of the Hamilton Police service which included: front line patrol, started up the bicycle unit, marine unit, lockup (custody), weekend and holiday court sergeant, traffic officer and motorcycle officer. Steve was also trained as a commercial motor vehicle enforcement officer to inspect medium and large trucks, bus and other commercial motor vehicle. Steve holds a commercial motor vehicle licence and a motorcycle license. This helps in his current practice as he has operated all types of vehicles and understands the dynamics of commercial motor vehicles. While serving as a Police officer Steve also was the head instructor for Police foundations for several years. Steve continues to lecture in Police related matters. In 2016 Steve retired from policing and did not miss a beat! Steve immediately started practicing as a paralegal specializing in traffic matters. Steve is licensed by the Law Society of Upper Canada but relies heavily on his background in policing. Understanding how police operations work and investigating matters is the key to his success. In a very short time Steve has become a very dominating and well-known figure in the Hamilton courts. In October of 2017 Steve took over as owner and operator of the 2 Hamilton X-Police locations. This is an excellent fit for him and Steve enjoys advocating for his clients in court.

Tonya Sellers
