The Firm was set up in 1984 by the late former Sole Proprietor Alec Crowther Fergusson, a British Solicitor practising in London. He sailed to Singapore in 1958 to join the law firm of Drew & Napier, and stayed with the firm for over 25 years as a Corporate Lawyer. He became a Singapore citizen and remained one for 40 years...
In 1984 he left Drew & Napier where he was a Senior Partner, to run his own firm under the style of his name until 1996 when Mrs Alice Tan joined him and the firm became a Partnership in 1997. He died in the year 2000, aged 66. Thereafter the Firm was operated by Mrs Tan.
