BEJAN J. DANESHFAR

Dr. Daneshfar is the Medical Director at the Texas Pain & Spine Institute. He is a pain specialist certified by several boards in the United States.Dr. Daneshfar did his undergraduate work at Southwest Missouri State University in Springfield, MO. He earned Degrees in Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics & Physics Sciences graduating with honors. His studies also included Electronics, Biophysics, Transistor Transistor Logics (TTL) as well as auto mechanics. He attended the University of Missouri School of Medicine in Columbia, Missouri graduating with honors as well.He continued his specialty residency training in anesthesiology at the University of Missouri Medical Center and the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Columbia, Missouri. Dr. Daneshfar entered the U.S. Air Force Medical Corps in 1986 until 1990. He served as a Medical Director of The Prestigious Dannnemiller Pain Clinic.He directed multiple departments at Wilford Hall U.S. Air Force Medical Center. Dr. Daneshfar also started the first official pain management clinic at Northwest Texas Healthcare Systems in Amarillo, Texas in 1990. He was the Director of the department of anesthesia at Northwest Texas health-care systems until 1996. He has been the Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer of the Texas Anesthesia Group PA, Texas Anesthesiology Group PA, Steam Boat Medical Developments, and the New Horizons Physician Practice Management Inc. in Amarillo, Texas. He has served as the Medical Director of the Acute and Chronic Pain Management Center since 1996. He is currently the medical director and CEO of the Texas Pain & Spine Institute located in Amarillo, Texas.Dr. Daneshfar is the founder of Texas Pain & Spine Institute and Acute & Chronic Pain & Spine Center and oversees both the clinic and The Ambulatory Surgery Center. Dr. Daneshfar has great passion for patients in pain and has made great contributions to their care. He nurtures and maintains an attitude of servant hood and that all patients are considered family so that no double standards of care exist.

Izzy Venzor

Izzy Venzor joined our team at ACPSC & Texas Pain and Spine Center in September of 2023. Izzy is a family nurse practitioner with 8 years' experience and 1 year in Aesthetics. She earned her associates degree in nursing from Amarillo College. In 2021, she completed her masters in science of nursing from West Texas A&M University. Her goals in life are to help others recognize the importance of nutrition, well-being, and educate her clients to promote healthier lifestyles.Izzie enjoys spending time with her husband and 4 children. Her hobbies include working out, running, hiking, and traveling.

Jeff Josma

Dr. Jeff Josma is a highly accomplished medical professional who's origin begins in Haiti where he was born. He moved to New York as an infant, which is where he was raised. He attended the highly competitive Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education at CUNY - The City College of New York; a medical program directed as a pipeline for students to become doctors right out of high school. Dr. Josma completed his Graduate Medical Education in the United States at New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York.Dr. Josma then went on to match into Stony Brook University Hospital anesthesiology's residency program. During his residency, he underwent rigorous training in all aspects of anesthesiology, including preoperative evaluation, intra-operative management, postoperative care, and all anesthetic sub-specialties (cardiac, critical care, pediatric, regional, trauma, etc.) It is here where Dr. Josma first developed a passion for pain management. He was awarded Resident Teacher of the Year and presented at several national conferences. Dr. Josma, in addition to performing his clinical duties and studying for boards was able to conduct research geared towards the management of postoperative pain for kidney donors that saw the reduced use of opioids and shorter hospital stays.Following his residency, Dr. Josma made the life-changing decision to continue his educational journey in Texas at the prestigious Texas Tech HSC in Lubbock; a program well known for bringing together some of the greatest minds in pain medicine and training great physicians altogether. Dr. Josma trained under world renowned Treweek/Racz Endowed Professor Miles Day prior to heading off to east Texas to work at Christus Trinity Clinic - St. Michael's hospital in Texarkana. There he continued to advance his skills in interventional pain procedures, medication management, and innovative techniques to provide effective pain relief for his patients. After working for several years independently at St. Michael's hospital, Dr. Josma decided to move back to west Texas and join the prodigious & incomparable Dr. Daneshfar at the Acute & Chronic Pain and Spine Center in Amarillo.
