I was born and raised in Lowndes County. After graduating Lowndes High School, I attended Valdosta State University and Valdosta Technical College. I received an Associates of Applied Science in 2010 and joined Dr. McCartney's dental staff team in May of 2012. I enjoy calming patients fears and making their dental experience fun.
My husband, Trey, and I reside in Valdosta with our daughter Reagan Joy. We enjoy spending time on the farm with our pets Cookie, Eleanor, and Clevis.

Dr. Michael McCartney is an Air Force veteran and a Fellow of the American Academy of General Dentistry. To achieve this honor, he completed more than 500 hours of continuing education in all aspects of dentistry and passed a rigorous written examination.
In May of 1995 he began working part time at Adel Dental Associates, and after separating from the Air Force in August of 1995, assumed the position as a full-time associate for the owner, Dr. Randy Benner, DDS, of Moultrie. Dr. McCartney purchased the practice in January of 1998 and the rest, as they say, is history. Adel Dental Associates celebrated its 15 year anniversary in 2010, and we look forward to many more with outstanding patients like you.
Dr. McCartney is a member of the American Dental Association, Georgia Dental Association, and Southwestern District Dental Association. During his time as a member of the Southwestern District, he has served through the officer chain, being president during 2006-2007. He attained Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry by taking over 500 hours of continuing education and passing a difficult written exam. In 2005, Dr. McCartney was awarded Fellowship in the prestigious Pierre Fauchard Academy, a dental honor society that recognizes its members for service to the public and to organized dentistry. He also received the prestigious Honorable Fellow Award from the Georgia Dental Association in 2009; this is given in recognition to public service, our patients, & organized dentistry. He is also one of three dentists on the Medical Provider Insurance Advisory Council with the Georgia Insurance Commissioners Office.
I graduated Dental Assisting in 2007 from CCC in Hastings, Nebraska. I work chairside with Dr. McCartney preparing patients for procedures, taking X-Rays, and sterilizing instruments. One of the most important aspects of my job is making sure our patients are comfortable and have a positive experience.
I moved to Georgia in 2013 and was married in 2014. Rick, my husband, is active military at Moody AFB. We have 2 daughters; Sydni, who resides in North Carolina, and Kambri. We love traveling and being outdoors.

I have been involved in dentistry for over 40 years! I started with Dr. McCartney in 1995 and worked for over twenty years as a dental assistant. I retired from Adel Dental in 2015, but soon decided to come back to the dental staff team part time and work at the front, confirming insurance. Dentistry is where my heart is! I have worked closely with Dr. McCartney as an assistant taking care of our patients. I am currently working up front, confirming Insurance and making sure everything is ready for their appointment.
I am involved with the Red Hatters Organization in Adel. I am enjoying working part time and working in my yard!
I started working with Dr. McCartney in 2002 through the Co-Op Progam in Cook High School. I have attended Valdosta State University and Wiregrass Technical College. I have the pleasure of greeting our patients and welcoming them into our office. I work with patients to help them understand their treatment and payment plans, and navigate through the often confusing world of insurance coverage. There is nothing better that seeing a smile on a satisfied patient! I love and appreciate the unity that our team has in the office!
I work alongside Dr. McCartney in many aspects of our patients care, including taking x-rays, preparing rooms for treatment, and sterilizing instruments. I joined the Adel Dental Team in 2015, making me one of the newest members. I am a 2014 graduate of Cook High School. I am eager to help patients understand their dental needs and address their concerns while receiving treatment.
I am an active member of Sparks Baptist Church. I enjoy outdoor activities with my son Jaxson!
