ADOPTION CONNECTIONS - Key Persons

Rebecca Bruce

Job Titles:
  • Founder / President of the Board of Directors
As a licensed attorney with an active adoption practice at Bruce & Bruce , she represents our Expectant / Placing Parent clients when they wish to make an adoption plan with our help. She is also a resource to adoptive families who are looking into adoption. Rebecca has worked with children and adoption for thirty years. She has been a Family Case Manager with the Department of Child Services, has worked in residential care with children, and has been Court-appointed to represent children and adults in various settings as a Guardian Ad Litem. She has four children, all through the blessing of adoption. She enjoys working with all parties to adoption, with the hope that the best possible "adoption connections" are forged.

Sue Brogan

Sue Brogan joined the Adoption Connections staff in 2012 as our primary "Birth Parent Support Case Manager." She now works for Rebecca Bruce, at Bruce & Bruce as "Expectant Parent / Placing Parent Advocate." Sue is a long-time social worker, who has always wanted to work in an adoption-oriented ministry, and while she says that working with expectant and placing parents is an answer to her prayers, we can wholeheartedly declare that when Sue joined our staff it was an answer to many prayers offered on behalf of Adoption Connections (and then later Bruce & Bruce). Sue provides emotional support as well as practical assistance for the placing parents and birth parents with whom we have the privilege of working. Sue and her husband, Steven, have four children, two daughters and two sons. They have experienced the beauty of the blessing of adoption firsthand as well in their family many times over, as two of her children are adopted, and she also has grandchildren through adoption as well.
