ALLIED ORTHODONTICS - Key Persons

Dr.Amen Dhyllon graduated from the University of Southern California, LA with special recognition and honors in Orthodontics and esthetic restorative dentistry. He was able to secure a place in the Dean's list for the entire course of study. He worked as a dental assistant and as Orthodontic selective for 4 years during his course of attaining DDS under the supervision of Dr Robert Keim (editor-in-chief for JCO). After graduating from USC, he was hand picked by Dr.Robert L.Vanarsdall in the only combined Orthodontic and Periodontic program in the world at the Ivy League University of Pennsylvania. During his Orthodontic and Periodontic training he has maintained a continuous part time practice at Advanced Family Dental. Dr.Dhyllon is dual certified in Orthodontics and Periodontics and is a member of AAO, AAP, AAFO, WFO, ADA, ASDA and many other national and international professional associations. He has his share of research and publications and received the prestigious research award from University of Pennsylvania for a landmark study in the field of Orthodontics. He is certified in Invisalign, invisible braces (I braces), LANAP, Micro esthetic surgeries, Andrews Orthodontic Philosophy, Accelerated Osteogenic Orthodontics (Fast-ortho). Dr. Dhyllon has delivered many beautiful smiles till date and is very popular among his patients. He has a knack of putting his patients at ease and works with each of them to devise their individual treatment plans

Dr. Waz (or Dr. Wasna Dabbagh if you want to be formal) is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and an alumna of the University of Baghdad in Baghdad Iraq. Much to her husband's chagrin, she is actively trying to adopt every stray dog in the world. When she is not working on getting everyone's teeth straight she can be found travelling the world, scuba diving, eating every food she can get her hands on, and spending time with her big, loud human family and her dogs; Tito, Smoky and Sven. Dr. Waz as she is known by her patients, is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia, PA and the University of Baghdad, School of Dentistry in Baghdad, Iraq. Dr. Waz completed her specialty training in Orthodontics and Dento-Facial Orthopedics from the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA and was awarded her board certification from the American Board of Orthodontics in November 2019. With an emphasis on clear aligner therapy and the utilization of the most modern technology available, Dr. Waz provides orthodontic and facial orthopedic care for individuals of all ages. In addition to offering care at the Exton location, she continues to be part of an interdisciplinary team, both dental and medical, at the Lancaster Cleft Palate Clinic, the first of its kind in the United States.
