Mr. Kuhrt is the Chief Investment Officer for Ardor Capital and governs the firm's research activities and the overall portfolio management process. Prior to the formation of Ardor Capital, Mr. Kuhrt spent four years as a Sell-Side Research Analyst at FTN Midwest Securities Corp. Mr. Kuhrt focused on companies in the Consumer Discretionary and Staple sectors and was rated a 5 Star Analyst within the Specialty Retail Industry by StarMine Corporation. Before joining FTN Midwest, Mr. Kuhrt served as the Controller of TheStep2 Company for six years where he was responsible for overseeing all of the firm's financial activities. Mr. Kuhrt began his financial career at Arthur Andersen LLP where he was a Senior Auditor responsible for providing a variety of auditing, tax and consulting services to a diverse group of private and public companies.
