Bayern Kapital was founded in 1995 as a venture capital company of the Free State of Bavaria. With 30 employees, we currently manage twelve investment funds with an investable volume of investment of approximately EUR 700 million. Our focus is on financing the founders of Bavarian high-tech companies as well as young, innovative technology companies to facilitate their access to venture capital for the development and market launch of new products... We invest from specifically structured investment funds and work closely with other venture capital companies (including the federal initiatives Coparion of the KfW and High-Tech Gründerfonds), business angels, family offices and experienced business experts.
