Bighorn Archaeological Consultants, LLC (Bighorn) was organized in March of 2004 by Dale R. Gourley and Jon R. Baxter. It is a small business providing archaeological consulting throughout the Western States. The owners of Bighorn have a combined total of more than twenty-nine years experience meeting federal, state and local permitting requirements... Bighorn is a full-service archaeological consulting firm working in association with federal, state, and county agencies, engineering groups, and the public sector. Our goal is to provide cost-efficient and timely completion of cultural resource projects and achieving compliance with directives issued by regulatory agencies, such as the National Historic Preservation Act (Section 106). The range of our services is broad. We offer diverse skills characterized by a common and unusual commitment to excellence.
