I am so lucky that Bray Architects allows me to connect with people and bring them the resources they need to be successful. Our architectural services have a breadth and depth that includes much more than designing a beautiful building. I love delivering the message that we help strengthen communities. It's satisfying knowing that my efforts benefit people far beyond my personal little world.
My "personal little world" is pretty great, though! I can't keep up with my husband's triathlon efforts, but I am the better lap swimmer. While he trains, I pretend to garden and try to keep up with my voice lessons.

From a young age, I had a desire to create - whether it was drawing images or building with Legos, I was driven to design and create. When my grandfather introduced his career of drafting for an engineering firm to me, it drew me towards the career of architecture. At Bray, I enjoy collaborating with team members about creative solutions for difficult challenges.
If I'm not in the office, I'm most likely exploring the outdoors with my girlfriend and our dog - there's nothing better than sitting by a warm campfire!

My time away from my desk is largely spent working with my hands. I believe design should always have an appreciation for the craft. I love to work on my house (from small repairs to detailed renovations), cook, and garden. I also have high hopes to build a green wall!

I am responsible for the coordination of employee benefits and administrative functions, as well as assisting in the development of company policy and procedure. My goal is to develop organizational structure balanced in a flexible environment that streamlines processes and brings positive results. Whether assisting with employment related questions or just lending an ear, I enjoy interacting with each and every team member.
Outside of work, I am my son's greatest sports fan. Baseball, football, rugby - if he's playing it, I am there! Heading toward empty-nest status this year, I am excited about shedding the roles of laundry lady, brown bagger, and taxi driver; but already miss the childhood milestones.

Three factors contributed to my inherent attraction to design: an odd fascination with Frank Lloyd Wright as a child, a penchant for creating cities in dirt (legos? bah!) and the fact that two uncles were architects. I'm registered as an architect, landscape architect and interior designer which bodes well in my role as Director of Design at Bray.
Outside of work I'd rather be downhill skiing than anything else, but kayaking, hiking and biking work in the off season - and visiting every art gallery possible.
