Mr. Gilbert has a strong background in the Greater Lane County Transportation and Civil Engineering industry. He has performed over one-hundred local Traffic Impact Analyses, including complex analyses of commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities. His specialties include alternative modes of transportation, traffic signal and roadway design, site circulation, access management and small community public infrastructure.
With 20 years of experience, his background includes employment in both the public and private sectors. Prior to Branch Engineering, Damien spent two years working for the City of Eugene Traffic Engineering Division. Currently he serves as Consulting City Engineer for three local cities and the on-call Traffic Engineer for two cities. He is an expert in addressing development related traffic impacts, and evaluating and improving safety and operational conditions for public and private facilities.
Damien grew up in the Eugene area after moving here as a young teenager from the East Coast, and is passionate about the Oregon outdoors.

With more than a decade of experience, Mrs. Leland specializes in public infrastructure and public works construction management. Julie leads the Municipal Services side of Branch's Civil Engineering Design Team and currently serves as Consulting City Engineer for the City of Coburg and other small communities in Lane County.
As an Owner/Partner at Branch Engineering, Julie takes pride in providing personalized, high-quality professional engineering services to her clients. Prior to Branch, Julie worked for the City of Eugene Darwin Team as a public works construction inspector.
Julie was born and raised in Springfield, Oregon and has a passion for the outdoors and travel. She now lives in Eugene, Oregon with her husband, Bradley.

Mr. Patterson has fifteen years of civil engineering design and project management experience in the development of commercial and public improvement projects in the northwest. Nathan enjoys providing quality engineering services and project delivery to clients ranging from school districts, city governments and utility providers, to architects, and private developers. He has developed extensive experience in stormwater management design and modeling, environmental permitting, cost estimation, site layout and grading as well as roadway and utility design.
Nathan grew up in the Salem-Keizer area and met his wife, Karrie, at Oregon State University. Now they live in Eugene where they continue to enjoy the beautiful northwest they call their home.
Mrs. Clough has been working in the civil engineering and land surveying industry since 2001, specializing in land development projects.
She has extensive experience providing services to public agencies through on-call service agreements and individual projects. Her projects have included surveying services to support public projects, obtaining local and state agency approval for public projects, designing public and private infrastructure to be constructed with federal grants, and performing approval reviews of project designs submitted to public agencies. Renee's attention to detail helps her projects to be completed with minimal iterations.

Mr. Derrick has 30 years of experience in the geotechnical engineering field. He has worked on numerous public and private projects and is very knowledgeable in the subsurface conditions that exist in the Willamette Valley and hillside areas. Ron has extensive experience in landslide identification, investigation and remediation as well as settlement analysis and soil liquefaction. He specializes in geotechnical investigations, stormwater system design and construction, pavement design and rehabilitation, mass grading of earthwork projects, and site grading design. He also has extensive experience providing design parameters for drilled shaft foundations.
In his six years of experience working for the City of Salem Public Works Department, Ron oversaw the geotechnical aspects of Capital Improvement Projects as well as the utility inspection team for the City. He also has over seven years of experience working in the geo-environmental field on the investigation and remediation of hazardous waste-laden soils and groundwater while employed as a consultant for the Southern Pacific Transportation Company.
