Christal G. Sellers

Dr. Sellers is a native of Cartersville, Georgia. After completing her undergraduate studies at West Georgia College in Carrollton, she attended and received her Doctorate in Optometry from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis. Dr. Sellers is certified by the National Board of Optometry as well as the Georgia State Board. She is an active member of the Greater Atlanta Optometric Association, Georgia Optometric Association, and the American Optometric Association. Dr. Sellers has received specialized training in the treatment and management of ocular disease as well as pediatric eye care. She also has vast clinical experience in "hard to fit" specialty contact lens cases. Dr. Sellers gives back to her community through an annual event that she hosts which provides Christmas gifts for over one hundred foster children from the Atlanta metro area. Along with her husband, she also works with local community programs offering eye exams and glasses to homeless men's shelters in the Atlanta area. She and her husband currently reside in Duluth with their four boys. In her free time, she enjoys supporting her children's sporting events, traveling, and boating with her family.

Christine Laube

Dr Laube has a long personal interest in Optometry. She received her first pair of eyeglasses at the age of 3 for myopia. Throughout her childhood her prescription advanced at an alarming rate. At the age of 10 she was told by her eye doctor that if her eyes kept degenerating at the rate they were she would be blind by the age of 20. This spurred her fascination with learning about myopia and the eye itself. She switched optometrists in her teens and he helped her pursue her interest through shadowing, teaching and letters of recommendation to college and Optometry school. Dr. Laube graduated Ohio University in 1995 with a B.S. in Biology and a B.A. in Psychology. She graduated Southern College of Optometry in 1999. Certified by the National Board of Optometry and the Georgia State Board. Dr. Laube is still passionate about Optometry and myopia management. Dr. Laube has lived in Suwanee since 1999. She has been married since 2004 and has two children.

Dr. Briggs Garnier

Dr. Briggs Garnier is from Dunwoody and attended Wesleyan school. She studied Biological Sciences at University of Georgia and completed her education at Southern College of Optometry in Memphis. She is certified by the National Board of Examiners and the Georgia State Board of Optometry. Dr. Briggs Garnier is trained in comprehensive eye care and treats and manages patients with ocular disease. She has extensive experience fitting soft and rigid gas permeable contact lenses. In addition, she received training in pre and post-operative care of cataract and refractive surgery patients. Dr. Briggs Garnier is an active member of the Greater Atlanta Optometric Association. She has served as the Young Optometrists Chair for the GOA and completed leadership programs for both the Georgia Optometric Association, as well as the American Optometric Association. She won the Young Optometrists of the Year award in 2018. She is currently serving the GOA as the chair for the political action committee. Dr. Briggs Garnier currently resides in Brookhaven with her husband, Jason, and their three children. The couple are travel enthusiasts and enjoy spending time with their family and friends.

Erick H. Smith

Dr. Smith grew up in the Atlanta area and attended Auburn University, graduating in 1988 with his Bachelor of Science degree. He received his Doctorate in Optometry from University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry. He is certified by the National Board of Optometry as well as the Georgia State Board. Dr. Smith is an active member of the Greater Atlanta Optometric Association, Georgia Optometric Association, and the American Optometric Association. Dr. Smith is recognized for his clinical expertise and commitment to quality eyecare. He has received specialized training in the treatment and management of ocular disease. Dr. Smith is also trained in the treatment and management of myopia progression with certification in corneal refractive therapy (CRT) which treats nearsightedness with the use of contact lenses for overnight wear. He is also certified in the use of the MiSight myopia management lenses, the only FDA approved soft contact lens for the control of myopia. Dr. Smith is very involved with his church and feels blessed to be able to give back to his community. He is involved with several local community programs offering eye exams and glasses to homeless men's shelters in the Atlanta area. Through his affiliation with several area churches, he also provides free eye exams and eyewear to countless missionaries serving around the globe. He and his wife currently reside in Duluth with their four boys. In his free time, he enjoys supporting his children in their many athletic endeavors as well as traveling and boating with his family.

Mary Elizabeth F. Brice

Dr. Brice is a residency-trained optometrist specializing in ocular disease and refractive surgery. She began her college career at the University of Arkansas on a golf scholarship and transferred her junior year to the University of Georgia where she graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Microbiology. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. During her time at UAB, she served as the Vice President of Student Volunteers for Optometric Services to Humanity (SVOSH) and was an active member in providing eye care to the underprivileged locally and overseas. After optometry school, she completed a residency at Woolfson Eye Institute here in Atlanta, where she received additional training in ocular disease including anterior segment and external eye disease, posterior segment ocular disease, diagnosis and management of hypertensive and diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma diagnosis and management, pre and postoperative evaluation and management of cataract, pterygium, and refractive surgery patients. She also has a special interest in fitting patients with specialty contact lenses who have corneal irregularities from keratoconus, corneal ectasia or post corneal transplant. She is an active member of the American Optometric Association, Georgia Optometric Association, and the Greater Atlanta Optometric Association. She served as the Greater Atlanta Optometric Association president and was also the recipient of the Young Optometrist of the Year award. Dr. Brice is originally from Tullahoma, Tennessee. She enjoys golf, tennis, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.

Priyal Gadani

Dr. Gadani is originally from Wilmington, North Carolina, and now resides in Dunwoody. She has been practicing in the Atlanta area since 2010. Before joining Briggs Vision Group in 2019, Dr. Gadani spent most of her career working in multi-specialty ophthalmology practices, and thus, is well-trained in the diagnosis and medical management of ocular disease as well as ocular surgery co-management. Dr. Gadani received her Bachelor of Science in Public Health with Honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and her Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. While attending optometry school, she was a member of Beta Sigma Kappa and Gold Key Honor Societies. After graduation, Dr. Gadani then went on to complete a residency in family practice optometry at the University of Houston. She is currently a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, and is also a member of the Georgia Optometric Association. Outside of work, Dr. Gadani enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons. She is dedicated to providing thorough, compassionate care, and enjoys educating patients about their eye health.
