Robert Broadwater founded Broadwater & Associates in 2006 following 20 years as an investment banker serving the media and communications industries.
Prior to forming Broadwater & Associates, Mr. Broadwater was a Managing Director at Veronis Suhler Stevenson, where he led that firm's investment banking coverage of the newspaper, book and educational publishing and digital media industries. While at Veronis Suhler, Mr. Broadwater led or participated in more than $12 billion of M&A transactions, including many of the firm's largest and most significant transactions, and handled the majority of the firm's valuation assignments.
Before joining Veronis Suhler, Mr. Broadwater worked in the media investment banking group of E.F. Hutton & Company, prior to which he was an equity options trader at The First Boston Corporation, now Credit Suisse.
Mr. Broadwater holds a Bachelor's Degree from Yale University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
