Dr. Anthony C. Burgett

With over 50 years of veterinary service in our community - Dr. Burgett's dedication to his clients and their beloved pets carries on. He continues to provide quality pet care on a part-time basis. Dr. Burgett performed studies at Edinboro University before going on to obtain his DVM from the New York College of Veterinary Medicine (Cornell). After obtaining his veterinary degree he served in Vietnam with the US Army Veterinary Corp. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association.

Dr. Gabbrielle Acosta

Dr. Acosta grew up right here in Edinboro, Pennsylvania, and is a graduate of General McLane High School. She has wanted to be a veterinarian as long as she can remember, and is thrilled to be following her dreams in her hometown. Dr. Acosta obtained a bachelors of science in Biology from Gannon University, where she was awarded for research in genetics. She obtained her veterinary degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts, completing her clinical year at The Ohio State University. Her special interests include orthopedics, neurology, rehabilitation, and behavior. Away from the hospital, she can be caught reading, watching musicals and marching bands, and spending time with her family and fur-babies, Noble and Kiara.

Dr. James R. Rummel

Dr. Rummel joined the Camboro Veterinary team in 1979. He is a 1976 graduate of Pennsylvania State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences. Upon graduation, his love for animal care continued at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine where he graduated in 1979 with his VMD. Throughout his professional career he has been an active influence and honored to have received many awards:

Dr. Randy S. Sliker

Dr. Sliker is a graduate of Cathedral Prep High School class of 1985. He went on to attend Boston College and obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1989. Following his love for animals, he attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and earned his VMD in 1993. Upon graduation, he became a valuable team member at Camboro Veterinary Hospital. His professional interests include orthopedic surgery, stifle surgery, cruciate repair via tightrope stabilization, fracture repair (surgical plating and pinning), dentistry and oral surgery, and emergency medicine. Dr. Sliker is certified in Regenerative Adipose Stem Cell Therapy and CO2 Laser Surgery. He's also certified to provide PennHIP reviews and is proficient at OFA certifications. Dr. Sliker holds memberships with the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Pennsylvania Veterinary Association, and the Northwest Pennsylvania Veterinary Association.
