Capital Properties has been an active real estate sales and marketing company in the Silicon Valley for over 40 years. Of course, when we started, the Valley was still earning that name. The company was started in downtown Los Gatos in 1979 and we quickly grew to support over 40 agents... In 1984, we moved the office to downtown San Jose. It was an exciting time in San Jose and the downtown was undergoing major redevelopment. Our agents continued to work with the buyers and sellers of existing homes but we also had an exciting new focus as Capital Properties began sales and marketing for many of the first condominium developments in downtown. For 15 years we specialized in marketing new developments in San Jose, Santa Clara and across the Bay Area. During this time, we were also active partners with the City of San Jose and administered its programs to assist first time buyers and also specifically, the San Jose Teacher First Time Buyer Program.
