CUTTING EDGE DRAFTING - Key Persons
Donna Cox has worked on many award-winning projects. She earned an Architectural and Construction Technician degree from Anoka-Hennepin Technical College in 1998. Soon after graduation, Donna began her career working for a mechanical engineer as a draftsperson/designer. She was soon involved in the design of plumbing and HVAC systems for many commercial, industrial and multi-unit housing facilities.
For three years, she worked for a mechanical contractor where she discovered the challenges commonly faced by installers. This experience helped her realize that she could provide a valuable service to multiple contractors while reducing their cost and improving their efficiency. In 2007, Donna founded Cutting Edge Drafting, Inc. so she could provide her drafting and design services to mechanical contractors and engineers.
Examples of projects she has worked on include National Guard Armory buildings, dental/medical clinics, hospitals, restaurants, salons, auto dealerships, office buildings, apartments and condominiums, funeral homes and senior housing facilities.
