His motivation was to engage with the world's most pressing challenges. Presently, he serves as a Partner in Dalberg's Europe region and established the London office, where he is currently based. Aly-Khan's interests and expertise revolve around two core areas, both fueled by his commitment to addressing global issues that tend to affect the greatest number of vulnerable people, in collaboration with Dalberg's clients. Firstly, he focuses on the intricate interplay of sustainability within agriculture, energy, and climate change. His pursuit involves identifying transformative approaches to reconcile potential trade-offs between socioeconomic progress and environmental sustainability. Secondly, recognizing that by 2030, more than 80% of the world's most impoverished and vulnerable populations will reside in fragile conflict-affected regions or will be displaced individuals, Aly-Khan leads Dalberg's Conflict, Security, and Humanitarian Aid practice. In this role, he guides Dalberg's global initiatives to support aid organizations in enhancing their effectiveness and optimizing responses to both chronic and acute conflicts. Aly-Khan collaborates with a diverse spectrum of clients, including multilateral organizations, governments, donors, foundations, civil society groups, corporations, and private investors. Recent engagements include developing a strategic plan for Princeton University's Eviction Lab; supporting Blue Meridian Partners to identify high-impact policy levers for place-based cradle-to-career organizations; serving as interim chief strategy officer for Community Solutions, a field catalyst supporting 100 communities across the U.S. to drive reductions in homelessness; and supporting Los Angeles County in the design and launch of a new economic mobility initiative serving small businesses. Ben has co-authored articles on health workforce equity, care work, and post-Covid small business recovery. Ben also serves clients on topics of health equity, including a multi-year trend sensing effort with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, a landscaping of innovation in global health for UNICEF, and development of an R&D strategy for new treatments for malaria for a global pharmaceutical company. Chris is a Partner at Dalberg, based in Singapore, and leading our strategic growth in Vietnam and Southeast Asia. Chris joined Dalberg in 2023 via the acquisition of Panl, a boutique advisory firm he founded in Vietnam in 2020. Prior to Panl, Chris was the Global Head of Economic Development and Managing Partner of Vietnam for the Boston Consulting Group. He sits on the Economic Advisory Council for the Government of Vietnam within the Ministry of Planning and Investment, and is a board member of Fulbright University Vietnam, the country's first independent non-profit university. Chris has spent more than twenty years working with senior leaders of government in Asia, including a number of heads of state. His work has focused on defining and implementing national economic plans, and building institutional and human capacity that can sustain economic growth and promote innovation. This has included the transformation of many state-owned enterprises that are seeking to modernize and adapt to opportunities and challenges of technology-driving disruption.
