Edward R. Gorab

Edward R. ("Ted") Gorab was raised in Colorado Springs, Colorado, received a B.A. in Political Science from Trinity University in 1993, and a J.D. from the University of Colorado in 1998. He joined Davis & Ceriani as an associate in 2000 and became a partner in 2005.

Jennifer A. Tiedeken

Jennifer Tiedeken was born and raised in Cheyenne, Wyoming. She graduated cum laude from Colorado State University with a B.A. in English and a teaching certificate in Secondary English Education. Ms. Tiedeken received her J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and was inducted into the Order of St. Ives. Ms. Tiedeken is licensed to practice in both Colorado and Wyoming. She joined Davis and Ceriani as an associate in 2011, and was promoted to Special Counsel in 2019. Ms. Tiedeken has been selected as a Colorado Super Lawyers Rising Star for 2017-2020. Ms. Tiedeken was selected as a participant for the Colorado General Counsel Mentorship Program, Class of 2020. Ms. Tiedeken was selected as a Best Lawyer in America for 2022. Ms. Tiedeken serves as a mentor for the University of Denver Professional Mentoring Program. Ms. Tiedeken joined WeeCycle's ToTs Committee in 2021. Ms. Tiedeken is a member of the Wyoming Bar Association, the Colorado Bar Association and the Colorado Women's Bar Association and has written articles for the CWBA publication, The Advocate, and the CWBA Blog, The 1891. Ms. Tiedeken also has published articles in the Colorado Real Estate Journal.

John W. Baker

John Baker is originally from Canada, but was raised in and around Erie, Colorado. He received his B.A. from Queen's University in Ontario, Canada, and his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School in 2016. While in law school, Mr. Baker returned to Colorado to intern for the 18th Judicial District of Colorado. Before joining Davis & Ceriani in 2020, Mr. Baker worked at a small Denver firm specializing in business and real estate transactions.

Michael P. Murray

Michael Murray is a Denver native and graduated cum laude from Colorado State University with a B.A. in English literature. Mr. Murray received his J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. While in law school, Mr. Murray interned with the DNA Justice Review Project at the Attorney General's Office. Prior to joining Davis & Ceriani, in 2012, Mr. Murray worked for a small litigation firm representing an individual in a Securities and Exchange Commission litigation matter. Mr. Murray was promoted to special counsel in 2021. Mr. Murray is part of Davis & Ceriani's litigation team. His practice includes securities litigation-including litigation and FINRA arbitrations-complex commercial litigation, and general civil litigation. Mr. Murray's experience involves representing both plaintiffs and defendants in negligence, breach of fiduciary duty, misrepresentation/omission cases, and disputes between business owners in both state and federal courts as well as arbitrations and mediation proceedings. Mr. Murray represents individuals and entities in connection with the formation, structure, sale and dissolution of LLCs and other entities, including negotiated and contested business buyouts. Mr. Murray is a member of the Colorado Bar Association and has served on the board of Crestmoor Community Association. Mr. Murray was chosen to participate in the Colorado General Counsel Mentorship Program, Class of 2020. Mr. Murray was selected as a Best Lawyer in America for 2022.

Nicholas A. Dooher

Nick Dooher is a Colorado native and grew up in Vail, Colorado. He received his B.S. degree in Business Administration with concentrations in finance and marketing from Trinity University and his law degree from the University of Colorado School of Law. After law school, Mr. Dooher worked in-house with a lender and at a small firm in the Vail area for several years before moving to a larger firm in Denver. After nearly 5 years in a regional Denver firm, Mr. Dooher left to start his own solo practice which he maintained for several years until joining Davis & Ceriani in 2014.

Scott W. Wilkinson

Scott Wilkinson is a Colorado native and graduate of both Colorado State University (with a B.S. degree in civil engineering) and the University of Colorado School of Law. He joined Davis & Ceriani as a law clerk in 2003, became an associate in 2005, and a partner in 2011.

Valeri S. Pappas - CEO

Valeri Pappas was born in Syracuse, New York and has lived in Colorado since 1995. As an undergraduate, she attended the University of Michigan for two years in the Honors Program before receiving her B.A. from the University of Vermont, graduating magna cum laude and as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She attended the University of Colorado School of Law where she served as an associate editor of the law review and received her J.D. in 1998. Ms. Pappas joined Davis & Ceriani as a litigation associate in 1999, became a partner in 2005 and managing partner in January 2015.
