DESERT HILLS ANIMAL HOSPITAL - Key Persons

Doctor Stewart Cellers (Dr. C) has been Veterinarian and owner of Desert Hills Animal Hospital since May of 1997. His goal is to provide the best veterinary care for his patients at an acceptable, reasonable cost to the owners. Stewart grew up on a large ranch in Wyoming and moved to a horse stable on Bell Road (when there was nothing there) his last 2 years of high school. He attended Arizona State University (go Devils!) and graduated with a BS in Biological Agriculture. During that time he worked for Southwest Equine Hospital and his mentor Dr. Clay Posey. He attended Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine in Fort Collins, Colorado. During his stay at CSU he had the opportunity to learn under some of the best small animal veterinarians in the world. The experience guided him to small animal medicine and surgery. After graduation Dr. Cellers returned to Arizona and began work at a very busy small animal practice. It was a great opportunity to work next to and with great veterinarians including some that were Board Certified.
