Jeff Schoess (Founder, CEO and President) He has 20 years of medical-device design and product development. He is an NIH Principal Investigator, NIH Diabetic Complications Consortium (DiaComp) reviewer and NIH scientific review group(SRG) member. He holds 18 US and European patents including recent patents for a near infrared spectral imager for ulceration risk assessment (US 10,506,961), a smart wearable ostomy appliance for skin breakdown prevention (US 10,531,977 B2), and a self-powered body-worn medical wound treatment pump (US 9,046,085). His efforts have led to securing over $5M in NIH SBIR research funds and IP transfer revenue.
