Brent Washburne is responsible for the architecture, design & implementation of eTicket Express in the Google Cloud.
Brent has worked in start-ups and large tech companies in Silicon Valley and the Silicon Forest for more than 20 years. Brent has founded his own consulting company, Iron Mountain Foundry; developed an investment services company, WindChart; and built Record Break'r, a mobile app for masters swimmers to track times and generate fastest relay teams. He currently works as a Lead Software Engineer for Nike at its World HQ in Beaverton, Oregon, working on artifical intelligence apps and machine learning.
Brent holds a BA in Computer Science from the University of California, San Diego. He lives in Lake Oswego, Oregon with his wife, Laurie. Brent is also a world record-holding masters swimmer.
Laurie Washburne directs the overall vision and strategy of eTicket Express. She has extensive experience in the non-profit community, running events and fundraisers for schools, clubs, and performing arts groups. Laurie has been active in STEM education as a teacher, curriculum developer and coach of Lego robotics competition teams.
Laurie holds a BA and MA from the University of California, San Diego and has worked as an e-learning designer and teacher in California and Oregon for more than 20 years. Laurie and her husband, Brent, live in Lake Oswego, Oregon where they are empty-nesters now that their three sons have all moved out to attend college and become software engineers.
