Amy Witschel

Amy eagerly joined the F&F team September 2002 leaving an accounts payable position at a dealership. She wanted to contribute to a more personalized team and make a difference as an employee. She is a trustworthy employee who runs the office administration and enables Amy, the owner, to focus on other tasks. Her daily routine includes greeting customers and writing up their repair orders, general bookkeeping such as accounts payable and receivable, reviewing repair invoices with customers to make sure they understand the repairs performed, and closing the daily books. In addition, Amy takes the initiative to organize completed jobs and prepares them for customer pick up. This has made a tremendous difference in the flow of our organization. She has a "bubbly" and friendly personality which warms up customers and makes them comfortable. She is genuinely caring and concerned about our customers receiving the service they deserve. She shows up to work everyday with a smile on her face. Amy worked at Evergreen Ford's Auto Body Shop as an estimator and office manager. She likes the positive atmosphere at an independent repair shop and feels that their customers get real value for their dollar. Amy has expressed an interest in taking automotive related courses to increase her technical knowledge. Amy and Ed are delighted to assist her in this effort. Amy enjoys rock-n-roll music and is an avid Sammy Hagar fan. In fact, her two Persian cats are named, Sammy and Hagar! Amy enjoys boating and snowmobiling with her husband, Tom. She also likes to play golf or go bowling with her friends. *With two Amy's in the shop it was necessary to give one a nickname. Think Austin Powers.

Brian Higginbotham

Brian joined the F&F team in September 2004 and has 23 years experience in the industry. Brian is a well rounded technician willing to take on any task and takes great pride in his workmanship. He can do everything from engines, transmissions, cylinder heads, rountine maintenance, emissions, etc... He is super dependable, a pleasure to work with, and a true team player. Prior to F&F, Brian worked at Salmons Service Center in Seattle for 21 years where his responsibilities ranged from technician to manager. He is an Inglemoor High School graduate and attended Seattle Mechanics School. Brian is a fmaily man with 3 kids, Kristin, Kevin, Kailin and wife, Mamie. He devotes most of his free time attending his kids' sporting events. He also enjoys snow skiing, boating, camping and family.

Mark Nilsson

  • Service Manager
Mark mans the service desk with Ed and has been in the industry 24 years. He is a graduate of the Lake Washington Voc-Tech Automotive program. His first job was at F & F's Juanita Mobil station in 1979. Six years later he went to work for Olympic View Service starting as a technician and promoted to Manager. He had been working at an Independent Volvo/Saab repair facility when Amy and Ed approached him about Technician/Service Writer position at F & F. He joined the team in 1996 and has been an integral part of the operation since, taking on the role of service manager. His excellent people skills and comprehensive knowledge of automobiles make him the vital link between technicians and customers. He has developed a loyal following of customers who look to him for automotive advice. Amy and Ed depend on and place great trust in Mark to make the business go when they are on vacation. He is the utmost loyal and dedicated employee who takes great pride in his work and providing customer satisfaction. Mark and his wife Pam have three sons, Tony age 13, Matt age 9 and Cody age 7. In his spare time, Mark volunteers as a Cub Scout Den Leader and assists coaching Little League Baseball. Mark likes to hunt ducks and geese and has recently tried hunting turkeys. He shares his love of the outdoors with his boys who love to learn how to hunt and fish with their Dad.
