As a native speaker of American English, I earned a BA in German with a concentration in international business from The Ohio State University where I was awarded the AIMS scholarship by Department of German. I spent time in Austria and Germany further improving my language skills... After returning to the U.S., I acquired experience in bilingual business environments for the U.S. subsidiaries of German firms PKL, Thyssen Steel and Danaher Controls. I not only translated general business, transportation and customs documents but also served as the point of contact with counterparts at German head offices...
