In 2012, Tom's son, Derek, came on following graduation from business school to manage several aspects of the business. He remained there for 4 years before returning to school for a Master's Degree in Business Management. Derek understood the value of what his father and grandfather had created and so in 2016 he bought the business, with Tom staying on as a consultant. Derek is active in the community and currently serves as the secretary/treasurer for the northern arizona electrical contractor's association.
