Halter's Body Shop is a member of the Conway Area Chamber of Commerce, the voice of the Conway-area business community since 1891. We appreciate the Chamber serving businesses in the Conway area so we can remain focused on the needs of our customers... Halter's Body Shop was founded in 1965 by Ferdinand W. Halter in a two-car stall located in Bill & Gene's Auto Clinic, which was located near the downtown post office, across the street from what is presently Regions Bank in Conway, AR. The lot is now a parking area with a mural located west of the bank... Founded by Ferdinand Halter in 1965, Halter's Body Shop, Inc. is still a family owned and operated business. Our story boasts a humble beginning in a two-stall garage located near the present-day downtown post office in Conway, AR, across the street from what is now Regions Bank. In 1968, Mr. Halter moved his business to its present location, which was once a part of his childhood home. In fact, one of the buildings sits on the site..
