Harry Roby, who owns the business, had worked as a cabinet distributor for many years, working for large cabinet manufacturers and eventually starting his own showroom that sold and installed cabinetry directly to the consumer. Through his experience working with the homeowner he found a common question asked by his customers was, "Where can they find a better selection of handles and knobs to finish off their project?" Harry knew that there were more options available to his customers because he made many visits to national kitchen and bath shows every year to keep his showroom current and updated. His focus toward the cabinet hardware made him keenly aware that he could provide not only a better selection of hardware for his kitchen and bath projects, but also fulfill the void unavailable to the other cabinet dealerships in the area. Soon after, the transition was made into making cabinet hardware his major focus.
