Highways, Inc. was founded in 1960 in Brentwood, Tennessee by Don Dean as a grading, storm drainage, and earthmoving contractor. As the grading division of the company continued to grow, the company has developed an asphalt division, bridge division, and a sand manufacturing division.We have completed hundreds of projects. These projects have included earthwork, storm drainage, asphalt paving, base stone, curbing, striping, sewer, water lines, electrical work, concrete, retaining walls, and bridges... Along with our grading and paving division, we operate a bridge division capable of constructing bridges of all sizes. We construct box bridges, steel, and steel reinforced concrete bridges.
