We are committed to that mission for many generations to come... In 1933, Guy Gardner founded Gardner Funeral Home. After Mr. Gardner passed away, Herman & Kate Humphrey purchased the funeral home in 1960. Working for over 57 years, Herman was associated with over 11, 750 funeral services before his death in 1997. Today, Jim Bob & Betty Humphrey own and operate the family business, with the third generation Humphrey, James Humphrey, serving as President.
