Andrew Garland is an Associate Attorney at the firm's Acworth and Douglasville Office locations. He primarily focuses his practice on residential real estate closings. He is a native resident from the mountain region of North Georgia near the towns of Blue Ridge and Blairsville.
Prior to focusing his legal career in real estate, Andrew had extensive litigation experience and has tried many cases before a jury. Today, he prefers to use these problem-solving skills to create solutions for clients involved with real property transactions.
Andrew graduated from Western Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and received a Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law.
In addition to real estate, Andrew enjoys both watching and playing sports with his two sons and spending time with friends and family in the Mountains.

Beverly O'Hearn is a Partner with the firm. Born in Ft. Thomas, Kentucky, she was a member of the George Mason Moot Court Board, and its Managing Justice. Beverly has over twenty years civil litigation experience, and she has tried numerous cases involving premises liability, automobile accidents, worker's compensation claims and other personal injury lawsuits. In addition, she enjoys a substantial motions and appellate practice, and she is frequent participant in alternative dispute resolution. Beverly received Martindale Hubbell's "AV Preeminent Lawyer" peer review rating, the highest rating in legal ability and ethical standards.
Her practice areas include civil litigation, personal injury defense, insurance litigation, and workers compensation. Beverly also handles employment law disputes, commercial litigation and probate matters.

Brendan R. Hunter is an experienced litigator and trial attorney. Mr. Hunter has extensive litigation experience in the areas of community association law, premises liability, general liability, professional liability, construction defect, insurance, business litigation, and real estate. Mr. Hunter works closely with community associations, businesses, and property owners to resolve disputes and reduce exposure to liabilities. Mr. Hunter also represents community associations, developers and builders in all aspects of community association law, including, directors and officers liability, covenant interpretation and enforcement, contract formation and disputes, covenant formation and amendments, and business formation. Mr. Hunter is the department head of the firm's community association litigation practice.
Mr. Hunter graduated Cum Laude earning his Juris Doctorate Degree from Georgia State University College of Law. While attending law school, Mr. Hunter was a student attorney at the Georgia State College of Law Tax Clinic. He was also a student mediator for the Fulton County State Dispossessory Court ADR unit, mediating property disputes between landlords and tenants. In addition, Mr. Hunter was an active member of Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity and was a Regents Scholar. Mr. Hunter graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor Degree in International Business with a concentration in Legal Studies. As an undergraduate, Mr. Hunter was a Hope Scholar and studied internationally in Salamanca, Spain.

Burke Johnson has over 32 years of experience as a litigator and trial attorney. He has tried approximately 100 cases to verdict in courts throughout Georgia and has argued cases in the Georgia Supreme Court, the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Eleventh United States Circuit Court of Appeals.
Mr. Johnson routinely handles title insurance claims, real property disputes, catastrophic personal injury cases, commercial general liability claims, insurance coverage matters, business and commercial disputes, and probate and estate administration and litigation.
Mr. Johnson is also a mediator and uses his extensive litigation experience to assist parties in resolving their disputes at mediation.
Mr. Johnson graduated from Emory University in 1984 and from the University of Georgia School of Law in 1987. While in law school, he was a member of the Editorial Board of the Georgia Law Review. He has received an AV Preeminent Rating from Martindale Hubbell, and he is listed as one of "Georgia's Top Rated Lawyers" and a Georgia "Super Lawyer."

C. M. Plocica was born in South Bend, Indiana, and eventually moved to Carmel, IN. C. M. attended the University of Alabama where she majored in Political Science with a minor in English. She was involved in the Student Environmental Transportation Initiative to help the CrimsonRide (the University's bus system) choose more effective routes for students that were not only convenient, but also environmentally friendly for the community.
C. M. was a member of the Ducks Unlimited Chapter, Student-Athlete Peer Tutoring, and an intern at the Tuscaloosa County Public Defender's office. It was at the Public Defender's office that her passion for law and client interactions really developed, working on behalf of members of the community who would have otherwise had no legal representation. It was there she learned how lawyers and corrections professionals can play an avid role in lowering the rate of recidivism for convicted people.

Carlton Morse is a the Managing Attorney in the firm's Stockbridge location. Prior to joining the firm, Carlton was a founding partner of Shuping, Morse & Ross, LLP, a real estate closing and foreclosure practice which continued from 1988 until its sale in 2014.
Carlton's practice concentrates on residential, public sector, and commercial real estate closings, and the attendant title review and clearance work necessary for successful closings. He is a past executive board member of the Real Property Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia and a former board member of the Georgia Real Estate Closing Attorneys Association and the Georgia Real Estate Fraud Prevention Coalition.

Claire Sumner is a partner in the Buckhead office of Lueder, Larkin & Hunter where her practice focuses primarily on general liability and healthcare defense. Claire specializes in cases involving medical, dental, and chiropractic malpractice as well as automobile and premises liability. She has secured jury verdicts on behalf of her clients in both State and Federal court and has argued before the Georgia Court of Appeals as well as the Supreme Court of Georgia.
In 2020, 2021, and 2022 Claire was named to the list of Rising StarsĀ® in Georgia, which annually honors the top lawyers in Georgia under the age of 40 or who have been practicing for less than 10 years. The Rising Stars list is limited to only 2.5 percent of the attorneys in Georgia and is compiled through a process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent evaluation of candidates, and peer reviews by practice area.

Cullen Threlkeld is an Associate in the Buckhead office of Lueder, Larkin & Hunter. His practice focuses primarily on civil litigation defense. Originally from Valdosta, Georgia, Cullen earned his B.A. in Political Science and History with a minor in Italian from the University of Georgia. There, he was a varsity rower on the club rowing team and an undergraduate research assistant in the Department of Political Science. He obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2021. While in law school, Cullen served on the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law's managing board and was a member of the Real Estate and Property Organization and Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. Cullen's note entitled "Are You In Or Out?: Hong Kong and the Applicability of the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods" was published by the Journal in 2021. The real estate and property faculty of the School of Law selected Cullen to receive the Attorneys' Title Guaranty Award for Excellence in the Study of Real Estate Law. Cullen previously was an extern for the Athens-Clarke County State Court and for Grady Health System. Before joining Lueder, Larkin & Hunter, Cullen was a law clerk for general practice firms in Valdosta, Athens, and Canton, Georgia.

Cynthia (Cindy) Hodge is the Director of Education and a Partner at Lueder, Larkin & Hunter, LLC. She is a certified real estate instructor through the Georgia Real Estate Commission, and she maintains a real estate salesperson's license. She has litigation experience in the areas of community association law, premises liability, general liability, construction defect, and insurance defense.
Ms. Hodge graduated Magna Cum Laude from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and minor in Economics. She earned her Juris Doctorate degree from Vermont Law School, consistently ranked as a top environmental law program. During her tenure at Vermont Law School, she was a member of the National Environmental Moot Court team.
Ms. Hodge remains active in the community and regularly volunteers. Within the firm, she serves as the champion for the annual Georgia Legal Food Frenzy, for which the firm has participated for nearly ten (10) years. She assists in the firm's efforts to adopt families during the holidays through Georgia Legal Aid. She has served on the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers (GAWL) Foundation council, as well as the GAWL Foundation Board. She was selected to participate in the GAWL 2014 Leadership Academy.
Ms. Hodge has served and continues to serve on committees for the Georgia Chapter of the Community Associations Institute (CAI). She served as the Education Chair for 2019 and 2020. She received the Rising Star Award in 2019 and the Doyle P. Jones Leadership Award in 2020.

John Lueder began practicing community association law and litigation after graduating from law school in 1995. With over nine years of experience in 2004, John began The Lueder Law Firm, LLC.
