Mahanoy Township Authority will begin routine flushing its water distribution system in your area on April 15, 2024 thru April 26, 2024 from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm to ensure you continue to receive high-quality water service. Flushing also allows us to monitor and maintain fire hydrants. When crews are working in your area, you may notice reduced pressure and or/cloudy/discolored water. If your water is discolored, boiling of drinking water is advised if cloudy water should occur, while this work is being done.
