The Institute is the realization my long held belief that building and analyzing operating system internals, security issues, protocols and device driver software better than the others, providing tactical and strategic technology integration services to solve problems is good. Happiness is creating tools and techniques for helping others to reap some of the benefit of the experience forged by 20+ years of banging on registers, poking around in operating system interfaces. The PC is kind of mysterious, hard to understand and sometimes even a little scary. To many - sort of like a Majik Bocks… The quest to understand and exploit a little of that Majik is what it is all about.
