Metal Craft Docks is a family-owned and operated business priding ourselves on exceptional quality, design, and outstanding customer service... The Metal Craft Company began in Cleveland, Ohio in 1932 by two German metal fabricators and engineers. In the mid-1950s a new plant was built in Chardon, Ohio to accommodate the growing business. Manufacturing of commercial docks began with the first shipments to Camp Mission Meadows on Chautauqua Lake, NY. The docks at Camp Mission Meadows are in good condition and still in use today! The dock design rapidly evolved to meet the needs for truss frame docks in the 1970s on Lake Cumberland, Kentucky. All three of the original frame dock systems are still in use today on Lake Cumberland including a small addition in the spring of 2018.
