Aleksandra Fortuna

Aleksandra is a physiotherapist who completed her master degree at University of Rzeszówin Poland. She has worked with runners and athletes after acl reconstruction during her internship with huge interest in current developments in motor learning and skill acquisition. Putting theory into practice she used that knowledge in the 2023 European winter working in ski resorts in the Swiss Alps. Aleksandra grew up living a very active lifestyle with emphasis on playing volleyball. In 2016 she got personal trainer certification, starting her passion for strength conditioning training and also for long distance running. Durning high school Aleksandra took part as a volunteer in two big projects helping people who struggle with lymphoma. During her University studies she became president of the Orthopedic Student Research while developing knowledge about sports injury management.

Alice Sherwood

Ali is a part of the receptionist staff at Asia Physio Niseko, and also has a background of physiotherapy. She graduated from a bachelor of physiotherapy in 2016, worked in Australia and the UK, before transitioning into the corporate world. She has worked in multiple private practices, several hospitals, with soccer teams in Sydney and has been teaching Pilates for several years. Ali enjoys keeping active, loves surfing, running and is excited to get better at snowboarding whilst spending the season here in Niseko. She will be there for all your needs at the front desk, loves talking and connecting to people and can provide any advice or questions you may have regarding your injury and booking an appointment.

Over the last year I've been in Morzine ski resort (France) working with Sports and Deep Tissue Massage, aiding recovery & maximising clients time to shred on the hill! Using interseason as a time to travel & explore other cultures. Previously, I spent the summers massaging at UK festivals, in beautiful yurts with excellent background music - also delivering mobile massage treatments across Brighton and Cornwall. Originally, I began working in luxury spas across the UK offering therapies aimed to relax the body and mind. I'm studying personal training to help clients better manage and prevent any injuries, with a focus on women's health.

Ben's interest in the profession began at a young age having suffered an ACL injury playing soccer during his teenage years. Ben is a keen snowboarder and surfer who takes a special interest in sports injuries and their management.

Brendon Cary

Brendon is a registered Myotherapist graduating from RMIT in 1997. He has over 25 years work experience in Australia, Canada and Japan working with celebrities, professional athletes, weekend enthusiasts and corporate clients. Dealing with sports injuries as a young athlete Brendon developed an interest in treating muscle dysfunction and pain. By living through the rehab process he has learned about the impacts of pain, dysfunction and injury that affect performance and life enjoyment. Through studying pilates methods, Brendon has developed simple strategies to educate clients and help them maintain, improve and overcome dysfunction and regain the ability to enjoy the recreation that they love. Caroline Le Quesne

Caroline is an Australian physiotherapist who has worked in a broad range of settings since graduating from the University of Newcastle. These include high level sporting teams in soccer, rugby union and AFL, as well as clinical work with a variety of musculoskeletal and sports patients. Growing up playing high level netball, volleyball and enjoying equestrian sports, Caroline has always been involved in sporting communities and exposure to injuries and rehabilitation. This inspired her to pursue a career in physiotherapy, seeing the knowledge and expertise of physios in these settings and the positive impact they could make. Caroline has enjoyed working clinically and with sporting teams/athletes over the last 3 years, with a particular interest in snow sports injuries, having worked in Australia at Mt Buller for the 2023 season. She is passionate about teaching clinical pilates and incorporating this into her treatment for a variety of conditions.

Charlotte is a registered physiotherapist from Auckland, New Zealand. She graduated from Auckland's University of Technology and spent the last three years working in the musculoskeletal field of practice. Two of which she spent many hours on the sideline and in clubrooms working with premier men's rugby and football teams. Charlotte was introduced to the realm of physiotherapy through many dancing injuries she sustained growing up. As a classically trained dancer, she understands the importance of returning to the stage. This experience, in combination with her people loving personality, allows her to develop effective and collaborative rehabilitation plans for her clients. Charlotte will support you during your rehabilitative journey and guide you back to the field.

Patrick graduated from Flinders University in Adelaide, South Australia in 2016. After graduating, he relocated to Port Lincoln, a fishing town on the west coast of South Australia where he started his career working in private practice. Due to Port Lincoln's remoteness, Patrick developed his skills in all aspects of Physiotherapy with MSK in particular becoming a passion of his. During this time, Patrick worked with a number of local Netball and Australian rules football clubs developing his assessment and management of a wide variety of MSK presentations. After 4 years in Port Lincoln, Patrick returned to Adelaide to further his MSK career undertaking further training in the diagnosis and management of shoulder conditions, knee hip, and groin injuries. He has worked with a number of elite athletes in the fields of running, netball and crossfit. Patrick has an active approach towards Physio with a focus on movement based therapy to ensure his patients can continue to do the things they enjoy!

Serena Mora

Serena is an Italian physiotherapist and personal trainer graduating in 2015. She worked in orthopedic and neuropsychiatric environments, before specializing in manual therapy in Milan. Loving sports (but not just Italian football!) she decided to move to Bali and take a master in water sports, starting to follow professional surfers. Wanting to discover more of the world, she then moved Dubai to work for a year. She really loves sports and is especially passionate about the acrobatic environment, so when she got the opportunity to follow Cirque du Soleil as a "student" she moved to the USA with them. From here she continued to discover the world while working as a Personal and Functional Circuit Trainer, discovering Mexico, Portugal before returning to Italy. Serena started competing for the OCR and Calisthenics which brought her to Verbier, where she then fell in love with snowboarding and skiing. After a year in the Swiss Alps, here she is, working as a masseuse for Asia Physio, in beautiful Niseko, full of energy and passion for helping others with health, wellness and motivation

Thomas Gilbert

Tom graduated from ACU with a bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2016 and has worked in the musculoskeletal field ever since. Tom has worked extensively with the Australian Youth Water polo team on multiple European world championship tours as well as elite and amateur swimming teams. These experiences have given him the skills to manage and treat acute and long-standing injuries in the sporting population. Tom has a passion for managing lower limb injuries, particularly in runners. His knowledge stems from his work as a Physiotherapist with distance running squads both locally and in England. Tom uses a biomechanical approach to determine the cause of the problem and will work with the patient to set up strength and management programs accordingly.
