David Rosmarin

Job Titles:
  • Chief of Psychiatric Services
Dr. Rosmarin has over 30 years' experience in criminal, civil and occupational matters in Forensic Psychiatry. Dr. Rosmarin served his internship at Boston City Hospital. He went on to a residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center where he was Chief Resident in Forensic Psychiatry. He was also a special student at Harvard Law School. Dr. Rosmarin evaluates employee for fitness for duty, disability claims, workplace harassment and personality assessments. He also supplies complex disability evaluations, including those for employees with contested disability claims involving both a physical and psychiatric basis. As a consultant to senior management, Dr. Rosmarin provides threat assessments, personality evaluations of new hires, discreet psychiatric services, and security assessments as well as consulting about difficult employees. He provides risk management consultation, including critical incident debriefing and litigation support services. Dr. Rosmarin consulted to the U.S. intelligence community for a decade. Dr. Rosmarin currently has a clinical appointment at Harvard Medical School and is Director of the Forensic Psychiatry Service at McLean Hospital. In addition to OEHN, he provides consultation services for a number of private companies, colleges, and law enforcement agencies. He chairs the Committee on Peer Review of Psychiatric Testimony for the American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law (AAPL) and received the Red Apple Award for service to the field. He has also received the American Psychiatric Association Distinguished Life Fellow Award.

Deborah N. Barbeau

Dr. Barbeau joined OEHN in 2016 following completion of a residency in Occupational and Environmental Medicine at the Harvard School of Public Health, where she was Chief Resident. As Medical Director, Dr. Barbeau combines her extensive Infectious Disease background with Occupational Medicine, benefitting clients including academic hospital employee health departments, community occupational health clinics, as well as university research occupational health programs and biotechnology and biopharma companies.

Karin Sullivan

Job Titles:
  • Executive Director
Karin's role at OEHN is to provide administrative leadership and oversight of the daily business functions, including operations, human resources, financial, business development, client relations, communications, project management, new client program development, and strategic planning. Karin joined the OEHN leadership team in 2013 and has over 25 years' experience in the healthcare arena. Her background includes several years managing occupational medicine centers, including a position as Director of Training and Special Projects for the CareGroup Occupational Health Network. There she contributed to strategic planning, infrastructure development, clinic start up and development and other operational initiatives of the network. She also chaired the Annual Lewis H. Millender MD Occupational Medicine Conference for four years. Prior to joining OEHN, Karin managed a ten-provider primary care medical group practice, where she was accustomed to managing change on a daily basis in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Lee Okurowski

Dr. Okurowski is a visiting lecturer for the Harvard School of Public Health and is a clinical preceptor for residents during their clinical rotations at the Harvard School of Public Health Occupational and Environmental Medicine Residency Program. In 2016, he was the recipient of the Outstanding Clinical Faculty Award for his "unruffled demeanor, recognizing resident's varied backgrounds and playing on their strengths while working on weaknesses and for inspiring enthusiasm for teaching and learning." Dr. Okurowski has extensive background in prevention and disability research, including identification of risk prediction models for work-related back pain to improve quality of care and reduce costs.

Michael Amster

Michael Amster has more than 30 years of experience as a manager and individual contributor in insurance loss control, consulting, and industry at both corporate staff and plant levels. Mr. Amster's experience has spanned sales and marketing of EHS consulting services, information systems, computer and web-based interactive training applications. He has been a major contributor in strategic, tactical and operational roles. This experience has included supporting the needs of companies with less than 100 employees to members of the Fortune 500. Thomas H. Winters

With over thirty years of experience in Occupational Medicine and an entrepreneurial spirit, Dr. Winters cofounded OEHN in 2004. As President and Chief Medical Officer of OEHN, he provides clinical oversight of physicians and is Medical Director for clients from a wide spectrum of industries.
