Dr. Daryl Sulit

Dr. Daryl Sulit is board certified in Dermatology and Dermatopathology. He attended college at the University of California San Diego. He attended medical school at New York Medical College on a military scholarship program. He completed his internship at National Naval Medical Center (in the greater Washington DC area) and Dermatology Residency at Naval Medical Center San Diego. He completed his Dermatopathology Fellowship at the University of Texas McGovern Medical School in Houston, Texas. He joined Pacific Pathology in 2022 after a 20-year career in the U.S. Navy. During his career, Dr. Sulit has served in multiple leadership and teaching roles. Additionally, he has authored and published numerous articles on dermatopathology.

Dr. Doyle D. Hansen

As a Nebraska native, Dr. Doyle D. Hansen attended the University of Nebraska Medical School in Omaha. He is Board Certified in Dermatology and Dermatopathology. Additionally, he serves as a consultant to the Pathology Department at Kaiser Hospital in San Diego; and he also served as Associated Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Dermatology, at the University of California, San Diego for 25 years. He served as interim head of the dermatopath section for 2 years. He is a staff pathologist and CA Medical Director at Pacific Pathology, Inc. Dr. Hansen served in the United States Navy for eight years on active duty. After service in the Navy, he entered practice with Dr. Thoene at East County Dermatology Medical Group in 1982. At 65 years old, Dr. Hansen has been in private practice in both dermatology and dermpathology for over 30 years.

John B. Campbell

Dr. Campbell attended college and medical school at the University of Oklahoma. He completed his residency at the University of California San Diego. He is a Vietnam-era Navy Veteran. He has held numerous professional, medical and administrative positions including medical directorship, hospital board/chief of staff and faculty (American Society of Mohs Surgery).

Ken Lasser

Dr. Lasser has practiced pathology in San Diego for over 30 years. He is a graduate of the UCLA School of Medicine and is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. He joined Pacific Pathology in 2015 after a 30-year career in surgical pathology at Kaiser Permanente. His special interest in pathology includes dermatopathology, surgical pathology, and needle aspiration cytology.

Timothy C. Sorrells

We are pleased to announce a new addition to our staff at Pacific Pathology, who joined us in December of 2019. Dr. Sorrells attended medical school at the University of South Alabama on the Military Scholarship Program followed by a 30 years career in the U.S. Navy. He completed residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, VA, and fellowship in Dermatopathology at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology. He served in numerous leadership and teaching roles, retiring as a Navy Captain, and has authored and co-authored several articles related to dermatopathology. Dr. Sorrells is board certified in Pathology and Dermatopathology.
