Mr. Pilka understands the importance of civic responsibility. He is very involved in the community and fully understands the importance of giving back to the community. His community involvement includes being the chairman of the St. Joseph's Academy Foundation, the chair of the St. Joseph's Catholic School, and being actively involved as a member of St. Joseph's Parish Planned Giving Committee and member of the Parish Financial Committee and St. Joseph's Parish Foundation. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus, 4th Degree Counsel 2505, Lakeland, Florida, as well as being actively involved in the South Lakeland Rotary Club.
