PROTOFORM - Key Persons

Dr. Jeff Gazzara graduated from The Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. He went on to complete his Ph.D. in Biophysical Chemistry from the same school in 1996 completing his dissertation on the "Interaction of Class A Amphipathic Helical Peptides with Phospholipid Unilamellar Vesicles". After graduating, he worked as a preformulation and formulation scientist in Greater Philadelphia area laboratories for over 7 years gaining the experience in product development that informs his work today. Dr. Gazzara founded ProtoForm in 2003 to provide a versatile non-GMP research and development laboratory to out sourcing pharmaceutical companies. With a quality by design approach ProtoForm facilitates the development of each drug product. Providing an extensive collection of state-of-the-art equipment at an easily accessible facility, ProtoForm is a laboratory created by an experienced scientist for experienced scientists. Throughout his career, Dr. Gazzara has articulated a solid understanding of the exact space and equipment requirements that enhance the development process.
