Clark joined the Re.Group board in 2022 following the company's acquisition of Polytrade Recycling. Clark founded the Sydney-based, Mercury Capital in 2010.
Dan Chesson - Chief Commercial Officer
Dan co-founded Re.Group in 2013, following over 16 years' experience in investment banking, capital markets and development activities. Dan's focus is on the commercial aspects of the Group and its projects, including funding, legal and corporate affairs.
He has been involved in more than $5 billion worth of transactions across a range of industries including energy, resources, renewable energy, property, agriculture and general industrials.
He holds a BSc (Psych), a certificate in Executive Leadership (Cornell), an MBA and a Doctor of Business Administration. In both 2012 and 2013, Dan was ranked one of the top 10 investment bankers by the East Coles Survey (Australian based).
David co-founded Re.Group in 2013 with a vision to equally focus on people, the planet and profit. He has led the company to realise this vision by delivering multiple impactful Australian projects. David has over 20 years of experience in recycling and resource recovery in Australia, the UK and Asia.
David's leadership in the sector extends far beyond his full-time focus on Re.Group. He is a Director and past President of the Australian Council of Recycling (ACOR). David is a Director of the Australian Business Council for Sustainable Development. He was also previously a Director of the Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation (APCO).
David was highly involved in the development of the UR-3R Process, leading to the creation and financing of the largest AWT facility in the Southern hemisphere, the Eastern Creek UR-3R Facility. He then led Global Renewables' successful bid and implementation of the US$4B Lancashire Waste PFI Contract. In 2009, David became an owner, director and CEO of Global Renewables (owner and operator of the Eastern Creek UR-3R Facility).
David holds a Bachelor of Engineering, an MBA and a graduate diploma in finance. In addition to leading Re.Group, he is also the nonexecutive Chairman of Global Renewables.
Eylem joined the Re.Group leadership team in 2022. She has more than 20 years of experience in people management with a strong strategic, change management and risk focus.
Eylem's human resources management experience spans across various industries including retail, media, entertainment, utilities, construction, and transport.
As well as passion and energy for recycling and resource management, Eylem has a Degree in HRM and Psychology from University of Sydney, together with accreditations in Training and Assessment and Change management. She is an active member of the Australian HR Institute and volunteers as a mentor across different organisations.
Eylem will be bringing her extensive knowledge to help transition Re.Group into this new phase of growth and expansion.

Garth joined the Re.Group team in 2014 and has led the development of numerous projects around Australia. He works to understand the needs of our clients and manage the interface between client needs and the delivery of bespoke resource recovery solutions.
Garth has more than 20 years experience working in the Australian waste industry, including as a journalist and long-time editor of Inside Waste. He understands the complexities of the Australian waste system, and the challenges of achieving government objectives in the most cost effective manner. He is a Director and past President of the Waste and Resource Recovery Association of Australia (WMRR).
Prior to joining Re.Group, Garth enjoyed four years with Hyder Consulting (now Arcadis), as the national business leader for the waste and resource management team. He has worked with all levels of government and the private sector, including managing delivery of Waste and Recycling in Australia 2011, the first time Australia's waste data was assessed and reported using a consistent national approach.
As well as a passion for sustainable resource management, Garth has post graduate qualifications in environmental science, journalism and finance, and is an active participant in various industry forums and working groups.

- General Manager Operations - Return - It
Komal has been at Return-It for 2 years and is the General Manager Operations. She oversees the national operations across Australia by managing the performance and growth of the business. Komal has a key role in building and maintaining Return-It's diverse partnerships including with the government, suppliers and charities.
Komal draws on over 14 years of financial and management experience to grow Return-It and it's improve the experience for Return-It customers. She has driven top and bottom line growth through efficiency driven initiatives, cost transformation, pricing activities and a customer-driven approach.
Komal is passionate about the Re.Group people and focuses on building, mentoring and leading her team. She consistently collaborates with stakeholders to achieve beneficial outcomes.
Louie joined the Re.Group board in 2022, following the company's acquisition of Polytrade Recycling. The founder of Polytrade, Louie has been a key figure in Australian recycling for more than 25 years.
Polytrade was established in Sydney in 1995 and focuses on processing plastics through material recovery facilities. Polytrade's rapid success was a result of Louie's focus on resource quality and market needs.
Alongside his industry experience, Louie holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc), Mathematics and Statistics from the Australian National University.
Neil Broekhuizen has over 25 years of experience in private equity investing across Europe, Australia and New Zealand. He joined the Re.Group board in 2016.
In 2003 he co-founded Ironbridge and has grown into a leading Australasian private equity manager with a strong focus on waste management. He was involved in developing Envirowaste into New Zealand's second largest full service waste management and recycling business. In 2010 Neil successfully invested in and helped triple the size of Global Renewables alongside David Singh. Neil has also sat on the board and investment committee of Ironbridge since its inception.
Neil has a BSc Honours degree in electrical engineering from Imperial College, London. He is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
Neil is currently a non-executive director of ASX-listed Monash IVF Group Limited and Bravura Solutions Limited.

Nick joined the Re.Group team in 2023, bringing over 25 years' experience and a particular specialisation supporting the success of high-growth companies. He is passionate about delivering Re.Group's vision of balancing the planet, people and profit to provide value-for-money outcomes for the diverse communities we service.
Nick is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) with a strong track record for Australian as well as global companies, in both listed and private equity backed businesses. His diverse experience stems from various industries including energy, engineering, professional services and FMCG sectors.
Oliver joined the Re.Group board in 2022, following the company's acquisition of Polytrade Recycling. He is a Partner at Mercury Capital and has been with the company since 2010. Oliver brings with him a broad range of experience across private equity and consulting including three years at McKinsey & Company.
Oliver has valuable insights from working with growth companies across a range of industries in Australia, New Zealand and Asia. Mercury invests alongside management, in businesses that demonstrate leadership in their industry, clear growth strategies and compelling growth opportunities.
