RIDGEBACK TRUST

Ridgeback Trust Incorporated (RTI) was started in 1998 to promote the well being of purebred Rhodesian Ridgeback dogs. The group's mission is to prevent the indiscriminate breeding of Rhodesian Ridgebacks. RTI helps at-risk Ridgebacks from numerous sources including pet shops, private owners, estate sales, and commercial breeders. Dogs purchased by RTI are placed into the care of reputable rescue organizations for fostering, veterinary care, and finally placed into a loving permanent homes where the dogs are cherished as family pets. Over the past decade, this all volunteer group has saved over 500 Rhodesian Ridgebacks from the chains of indiscriminate breeding.
