RIGBY DENTAL - Key Persons

Dr. Rigby grew up in the West Jordan, Utah area. He graduated from West Jordan High School in 1990 and received a Bachelors degree in Medical Biology from the University of Utah in 1995 and a Professional Doctorate degree from Temple University School of Dentistry in 1999. He completed a General Practice Residency program at the University of Utah in 2000 where he was fortunate to gain advanced training in the field of Dentistry. He married his wife, Kristin in August 2000, after meeting her in Philadelphia,PA while in Dental School. They live in Draper and have 2 children. After 2 decades of experience, he has focused a lot of Continuing Education and training in cosmetic, implant and restorative dentistry. "It has been my pleasure to be of service and create several smiles for the West Jordan and surrounding communities since establishing my own practice in February 2002." Dr. Rigby's professional affiliations and memberships include the following: The American Dental Association, Utah Dental Association, and the Salt Lake Dental District Society and the West Jordan Chamber of Commerce. His hobbies consist of golfing, boating and skiing.

Dr. Evans is a Salt Lake native who graduated from Brigham Young University in 2012 with a degree in Exercise Science. He attended the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ASDOH) on scholarship where, in addition to his D.M.D. degree, he received a Certificate in Public Health. After graduation in 2016, he joined the United States Army and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) and an additional 3 years as an active-duty dentist. Dr. Evans and his family moved back to Utah in 2020 and joined the Army Reserves. Dr. Evans and his wife Emily have 3 beautiful girls. He proudly embraces his "girl dad" title. We are excited to have his knowledge and expertise at Rigby Dental! Kristin started with Rigby Dental in November of 2020. She is passionate about anime. She is excellent at making connections with patients, and loves creating conversations. Her conversations are sure to put you at ease during your visit.

Dr. Ida was born and raised in Holladay, Utah. In 2016, she graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Biology and Chemistry. She was able to further her education and attend the University of Utah School of Dentistry where she received her Doctoral Degree of Dental Surgery. After graduation in 2020, Dr. Ida joined Smith Dental Care and has now joined the Rigby Dental Team. She is very excited to stay and resume seeing patients she has had the pleasure of meeting over the last couple of years. Dr. Ida's family is originally from Iran and therefore she is fluent in Farsi. She recently got engaged to her fiancé Nick while they were on a trip to Africa. The two of them love to travel to a new country once a year when they aren't home with their fur baby, Charlie.
