Andrew W. Zucker

Dr. Andrew Zucker was born and raised in Sandusky, Ohio. After graduating from Perkins High School, he received his bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Dayton. He earned his D.D.S. from The Ohio State University in 2007, and spent a year practicing on the New Jersey seashore learning many advanced techniques and procedures. After spending a few years in Dayton and Cincinnati, Dr. Andrew decided to move back to Sandusky and join the practice founded by his father and Dr. Wyneski. Dr. Andrew is dedicated to continuing dental education and enjoys staying up-to-date on all aspects of modern dental practice. He served as a professor in the Department of Primary Care at the Ohio State University's College of Dentistry, where he trained dental students as they saw patients in OSU's clinic. Dr. Andrew has donated his time to the Free To Smile Foundation, traveling to Guatemala and Cambodia to provide dentistry to underserved children without access to dental care; and to help children born with cleft lip and palate, as well as other facial deformities. In 2017, Gov. John Kasich appointed Dr. Zucker to the Ohio State Dental Board, where he is entrusted to promote service excellence in dentistry and to protect the public through licensure, education and enforcement of standards with fairness and integrity. He was re-appointed to a second term by Gov. Dewine in 2019. Andrew's wife, Natalie, retired from teaching at Danbury Middle School, where she specialized in Talented and Gifted Education as well as operating the STEM Lab (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). She now works in the practice and serves in many important administrative roles. They welcomed their son, Hudson, in 2017, and their daughter, Elise, 2021.

Dr. Emily Kuns

Dr. Emily Kuns was born and raised in Castalia, Ohio and is the daughter of local primary care physician Brett Kuns; and wife Judy. She graduated from Margaretta High School where she was pointguard of the State qualifying Lady Bears basketball team. Dr. Emily graduated Cum Laude from John Carroll University with a Bachelors Degree in Biology where she was the Vice President of Alpha Epsilon Delta Pre-Medical Honor Society. She continued her education in Glendale, Arizona at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine. There, she served as Vice President of the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Emily still remains active in organized dentistry, as she is currently both the treasurer and program director of the North Central Ohio Dental Society. Dr. Emily has been a patient of Dr. William Zucker since the age of 3, and was thrilled to be welcomed back to her hometown into an office that single-handedly inspired her career dreams. She has always admired the high spirits and genuine care of the entire office staff from the minute you walk through the door. She believes that a smile can show a lot about your personality, and that a healthy smile is a beautiful smile. Emily is married to Dr. Tim Adamowicz, a medical oncologist working at both Firelands and Fisher Titus hospitals. They welcomed their daughter, Holly, in 2018 and added a son, Calvin in 2021. When not busy working or parenting, Emily loves home improvement projects, running, traveling, woodburning and crafting.

William J. Zucker

Dr. William Zucker was raised in the western suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio After graduating from St. Edward High School, he received his bachelor's degree in Science from Xavier University in Cincinnati and his D.D.S. degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1975. He then came to Sandusky where he has practiced general dentistry since. For 25 years, Dr. Zucker was on staff at Providence Hospital and was the dental director for the hospital's skilled nursing center. He is an active member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic parish and has served on many councils and committees there. Dr. Zucker met his wife, Maribeth, in Cincinnati over 40 years ago and they have been happily married since. They raised two children, Christie and Andrew. Christie's husband is in the US Air Force and they have two daughters. Andrew has returned home to join Sandusky Dental Partners.
