CONTRACTORS SEMINARS - Key Persons
Bill Ramsey, Owner/President of Contractors Seminars, Inc., has over 30 years of construction and teaching experience. Bill has a degree in Civil Engineering, diploma and certification in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, and an Aircraft Maintenance Technician Certificate. He has held a position at Spartanburg Technical College, York Technical College and Horry Georgetown College (Conway) as a General/Mechanical and Residential Contracting Instructor. Bill Ramsey formerly worked as a SC County Building Official and retired as a SC Residential Builders Commision Investigator, and as a US Naval Reserve Officer. Bill also owns several construction companies.
Bill's past and current affiliations are numerous including positions held on the Building Officials Association of South Carolina as President, Vice President, legislative committee and board member. International Association of Electrical Inspectors, SC Chapter, positions held - Secretary/Treasurer and board member. Mr. Ramsey has served in the Southern Building Code Congress on the Code Interpretation Committee. Bill has also served on the SC Modular board of appeals and the SC Board building code coucil as a board member.
Bill Ramsey holds certifications such as - Certified Building official, Certified Building Inspector, Certified Building Plan Examiner, Certified Residential Electrical Inspector, Certified Plumbing Inspector, Certified Mechanical Inspector and Certified Energy Auditor.
Bill Ramsey holds South Carolina licenses for - general contractor, highway, general/specialty roofing, water and sewer lines, water plants, glass and glazing, air conditioning, electrical, plumbing and process piping, as well as grading and paving.
