Adam Baughman

Adam Baughman serves as Senior Associate at Seaport Capital. Adam joined Seaport in 2020. He is active with Seaport's investment activities, including analyzing and evaluating new investments, as well as overseeing existing investments. Prior to joining Seaport, Adam spent one year as an Associate in PwC's Strategy& Deals Strategy vertical. In this role Adam supported commercial due diligence efforts for both private equity and corporate clients as they looked to execute strategic growth options and M&A opportunities. Adam graduated from Harvard University, where he earned a BA in Applied Mathematics with an application area in Economics.

Alison Sanders - VP

Alison joined Seaport Capital in 2018. Prior to joining Seaport, she evaluated investment opportunities and worked with portfolio companies for Revelstoke Capital and North Castle Partners. Before pursuing her MBA, Alison was a private equity associate with Castle Harlan and an investment banking analyst with Deutsche Bank in the media and telecom group. Alison holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and graduated magna cum laude from the University of California Berkeley with a BA in economics and a BS in business administration.

Bill Luby

Bill, a Founding Partner of Seaport and Co-Chairman of the Seaport Investment Committee, brings more than 30 years of private equity and merchant banking experience to Seaport. Bill is actively involved in formulating the investment process, originating investments and managing the investment activities of Seaport. In addition, Bill works closely with Seaport portfolio companies. Prior to co-founding Seaport in 1997, Bill was a Managing Director of Chase Capital, the equity-investing arm of The Chase Manhattan Bank. In that position, he was responsible for the firm's investments in media and telecommunications, with a particular emphasis on wireless communications. Prior to joining Chase Capital, Bill was a Managing Director in Chase's Merchant Banking Group. Bill received an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business and a BA in Economics from Trinity College. Bill is on the Board of Directors at Equinix (Nasdaq: EQIX). He also serves on the Board of Visitors at the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.

Bob Tamashunas

Bob joined Seaport in 2003. Bob has an active role in sourcing, analyzing and structuring new investment opportunities, and working alongside Seaport portfolio companies. Bob also assists in formulating the investment process and managing the operating activities of Seaport. He focuses primarily on business and information services, communication infrastructure, and tech enabled services investment opportunities. Prior to joining Seaport in 2003, Bob worked in the Leveraged Bank Loan Group at Prudential Capital Group where he assisted in analyzing investment opportunities and investing debt capital in a variety of industries. Bob also serves on the Board of the Student Conservation Association, a non-profit whose mission is to build the next generation of conservation leaders by engaging young people in hands-on service to the land.

Caren Dina

Caren joined Seaport in 2014. Prior to joining Seaport, she was Controller for MayerCap, LLC, a fund-of-funds where she was responsible for the fund accounting, as well as the management company and client reporting. Before joining MayerCap, LLC, Caren was Controller for The Segalas Group, LLC, a start-up hedge fund based in New Canaan, Connecticut. Previously, she was Hedge Funds Group Controller for Lynch & Mayer, Inc., a registered investment advisor that had more than $6.5 billion in assets under management. Caren holds a BS in accounting from Pace University.

Drew Meyers

Drew re-joined Seaport in 2018 having been at Seaport previously from 2001 to 2007. Drew has an active role in sourcing, analyzing and structuring new investment opportunities, and working alongside Seaport portfolio companies. Drew also assists in formulating the investment process and managing the operating activities of Seaport. He focuses primarily on business and information services, communication infrastructure, software and tech-enabled services investments. Prior to re-joining Seaport, Drew worked at Gryphon Investors, a middle-market private equity firm investing in business services, consumer, healthcare and industrial companies. Prior to Gryphon Investors, Drew was a partner at GroupArgent where he helped lead the firm's direct investment activities in IT infrastructure, digital media and digital content. Earlier in his career he worked in the sponsor finance group for BT Alex. Brown and the corporate finance team for MFS Communications. Drew received an MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management and a BS in Finance from the University of Dayton.

Elias Arts

Elias Arts is the industry leader in creating and licensing music and sound for traditional marketing communications including television advertising, network identities, and feature film promotions. Elias has also pioneered the concept of utilizing music and sound for corporate clients in order to enhance their brand strategies, retail environments and products.

Jim Collis

Jim co-founded Seaport Capital with Bill Luby in 1997. While no longer active in the day-to-day management of Seaport, Jim is Co-Chairman of the Seaport Capital Investment Committee and assists in formulating Seaport's investment strategy. He continues to serve on the Board of Directors of Seaport portfolio companies, working with them to grow value. Jim began his professional career as an electrical engineer at National TeleConsultants. He transitioned to private equity investing in 1991 when joining Bill at the Chase Manhattan Bank, initially as an Associate in the Merchant Banking Group and later as a principal in Chase Capital. Jim received an MBA from the Columbia Business School and a BSEE from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

Kathleen Holohan

Kathleen joined Seaport in 2019. She is responsible for Seaport's investor relations and marketing, including investor communications, reporting, fundraising, events, and CRM management. Prior to joining Seaport, Kathleen spent three and a half years on the Investor Relations team at Apax Partners. Before joining Apax, she worked at the Nasdaq Stock Exchange and BNY Mellon. Kathleen graduated from the Kogod School of Business at American University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

Michael Stern

Michael joined Seaport Capital in 2017. Prior to joining Seaport, he worked for four years in private equity at CapitalSpring, focusing primarily on buyout equity and debt investments in the restaurant industry. Michael also has four years of investment banking experience at J.P. Morgan and Sterne Agee & Leach prior to obtaining his MBA. Michael holds an MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management and a BBA with concentrations in finance and accounting from Emory University's Goizueta Business School.

Morgan Eddy

Morgan Eddy serves as Senior Associate at Seaport Capital. Morgan joined Seaport in 2021. She is active with Seaport's investment activities, including analyzing and evaluating new investments, as well as overseeing existing investments. Prior to joining Seaport, Morgan spent three years as an Investment Banking Analyst at Wells Fargo Securities. In this role Morgan performed financial analysis, due diligence, and industry research for M&A and capital markets transactions. Morgan holds a Master of Finance from University of Florida Hough Graduate School of Business and graduated from the University of Florida with a BS in Finance.

Sam Jablonski

Sam Jablonski serves as Senior Associate at Seaport Capital. Sam joined Seaport in 2020. He is active with Seaport's investment activities, including analyzing and evaluating new investments, as well as overseeing existing investments. Prior to joining Seaport, Sam spent two years as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications Group at Cowen and Company. Sam graduated from Bowdoin College, where he earned a BA in Sociology, with a minor in Economics.

Samantha Barone

Samantha joined Seaport in 2019. She works alongside our Controller and CFO, providing reporting and accounting services to the company. Prior to joining Seaport, Samantha spent 5 years on the Finance team at Key Food Stores Co-Operative where she managed the accounts payable and general ledger departments. Prior to that, Samantha worked at The Conti Group and Potter & Lamarca LLP. Samantha, a Certified Public accountant received a Bachelors of Science in Accounting from CUNY College of Staten Island.

Scott McCormack

Scott, who joined Seaport in 2003, has over 20 years of private equity investing experience. His responsibilities include sourcing and structuring new investment opportunities as well as working with Seaport portfolio companies. He focuses on service providers in the communications and infrastructure markets as well as on software investments. Scott is also active in the ongoing management of Seaport's operations and investment activities. Scott joined Seaport after five years at BancBoston Capital, the private equity arm of FleetBoston Financial, where he was a Director in the media and communications group. Prior to business school, he spent four years as a derivatives trader in the US and Germany. Scott received an MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and graduated cum laude from Harvard College with an AB in Economics.

Steve Schwinger - CFO, Chief Compliance Officer

Steve re-joined Seaport in 2023 having been at Seaport previously from 2000 to 2005 as the firm's controller. Steve leads the Firm's accounting, finance, compliance and administrative functions and participates in its transaction structuring and its partner reporting and communications program. Prior to re-joining Seaport, Steve spent 17 years as Chief Financial Officer and Partner at TruArc Partners, a middle market private equity fund currently managing over $2.7 billion in private equity investments. Earlier in his career he worked at Goldstein Golub Kessler LLP, specializing in the audits of hedge funds and private equity funds. Steve received a BBA in Accounting from Hofstra University.
