In 2021, SCHRC became a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) - an integrated model of care improving service quality and accessibility. This model is future of community behavioral health with a goal to improve both mental health and substance abuse treatment across the country... South Central Human Relations Center has been delivering comprehensive, community-based mental health services to adults, children, adolescents and families for more than 45 years. It began in 1964 with residents of Steele County first gaining access to psychiatric and psychological services available to residents of four counties. Since then, the organization has steadily expanded to meet the growing needs of the communities in Steele, Dodge and Waseca counties.
