SHPE-INDIANA

We are SHPE Indiana and are part of Region 6 of the SHPE National organization. Our chapter was founded in 2006 by Lourdes Palacio, Ruben Barron, Ana Dawes, and Marna Renteria. All of them are successful engineers working for the most prominent companies in Indiana. The SHPE Indiana chapter was established to create a networking group of Hispanic engineers who will serve as role models to the growing Hispanic community in Indiana. SHPE Indiana seeks to provide networking opportunities to its members, link engineering professionals and students with technology companies, and provide career development tools and opportunities for members of our group... SHPE's vision is a world where Hispanics are highly valued and influential as the leading innovators, scientists, mathematicians, and engineers.
