Our mission is to reinforce the partnerships between HUD Regional offices, MAP Lenders, and third-party vendors in order to maintain a clear understanding of regulatory compliance, best practices in FHA-insured lending, and continuing education based on current events... SMAC provides a forum for discussion of MAP underwriting and Asset Management issues as well as the improvement and promotion of the MAP application for transactions located in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands.
