Snehalaya, Centre for the Persons in need of Special care, was set up in July 2007 in Thane. Skill Training and Personality Development is part of our activity, for the Mentally Challenged persons and also persons with other developmental disabilities, particularly for the ones who are above 18 years of age, in our vocational section. Snehalaya also acts as a Day Care center... SNEHALAYA CHARITABLE TRUST is founded by a parent of a mentally challengend person. It is a trust registered in the year 2006 under Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950. We are also registered as an associate member of Parivaar - National Confederation of Parents' Association (For persons with Mental Retardation, Autism, Cerebral Palsy and Multiple Disabilities). We are also registered with the National Institute of Mentally Handicapped, Secunderabad. We have obtained 80 G certificate and hence can accept donations. Our accounts are audited every year.
