STEINBOMER - Key Persons
Benjamin joined Studio Steinbomer after moving to Austin in 2014 from East Alabama where he grew up. He completed his Bachelors of Architecture at Auburn University in 2012 where he also attended the Rural Studio program; there he gained an appreciation for regional architecture and sustainable design.
He moved to Austin to join Studio Steinbomer, where he applies his past experiences to design building solutions uniquely specific to climate, site, and urban fabric in order to satisfy both direct and indirect client needs.
Apart from his profession, Benjamin likes to travel, cook, paint, dance, and explore the many happy hours Austin has to offer.

Carolyn was born in Dallas, TX and grew up in several European countries. At the age of 18, Carolyn moved to NYC where she worked for high end restaurants and clubs while attending The Fashion Institute of Technology. After the birth of her first daughter in 2008, Carolyn moved back to Texas and has been in Austin since 2013.
Carolyn joined Studio Steinbomer in 2020 as the Office Manager, a position where her natural bossiness and organizational skills are put to good use. She is fluent in French, proficient in Italian and working hard on her Spanish.
In her spare time, Carolyn enjoys being with her family, hiking, swimming, reading and anything that doesn't involve technology.
