Bryan Korolischuk

Bryan manages our Calgary office & clients Bryan's unique background as a Certified Management Accountant, Professional Geophysicist and a former SR&ED program reviewer enables him to deliver customized research tax credit claims that are both technically accurate and financially sound. As a former Financial Auditor and Science Reviewer for the Canadian government's SR&ED program, he has reviewed both the technical reports and financial forms for hundreds of claims in various industries, including engineering, geoscience, manufacturing and software. He has intimate knowledge of the SR&ED regulations and claim assessment process, and has experience in processing claims in Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Columbia and Ontario. In addition to working in the SR&ED program, Bryan spent 10 years at the Canada Revenue Agency as an accountant in several departments, including personal taxes, business taxes and flow-through shares. Bryan is a professional geophysicist specializing in seismic processing and interpretation software. He also has expertise in the business and technology advancements of the oil and gas industry, in fields such as drilling and production technology, downhole tools, transportation mechanisms and data acquisition.

Wayne Powell - President

Wayne manages our Greater Edmonton office & clients Wayne combines his skills in SR&ED evaluation, software information technology and management consulting to provide personalized and knowledgeable tax credit services to his clients. As an independent SR&ED consulting expert to the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) from 1996 to 2003, Wayne evaluated hundreds of claims in computer science on a regional, national and appeals level. As a member of a national SR&ED review team, he assessed many controversial, multi-million-dollar claims and conducted challenging investigative reviews on behalf of CRA. Wayne's work experience in the software industry includes programming and managing real-time control systems, artificial intelligence systems, database applications, software gaming, medical diagnostics and business system information. Specializing in software engineering methods and practices, he has helped software development teams across many industries to increase productivity. He has also taught several courses in requirements analysis and design. Wayne was a member of the Canadian Association of Management Consultants (CMC) for 15 years. As a CMC, he consulted to software organizations and helped them implement business process improvements, project management methods, quality control, organizational change and effective leadership.
