MYTA

Malaysia Tea Association (MyTA) formally known as Tea Trade Association of Malaysia (TTAM) [1999-2019] and Tea Merchants' Association, Federation of Malaya [1956-1999], was established in 1956 by a group of tea merchants around Kuala Lumpur and Selangor. Since then, its membership spread nationwide. MyTA is a non-governmental, non-profit trade association with the objective to promote and encourage interaction, co-operation and development of tea trade and tea cultures locally and abroad, besides protecting the interest of its members and carrying out social responsibilities... The inaugural issue of MyTA's quarterly bulletin TEA TIME, aka ‘Cha Shi Cha Wei' was launched in 2012 with the objectives to service its members, disseminate tea events locally and abroad, sharing important information and special articles on tea, etc.
